Screening
Under this exercise, the State Social Mobilization Officer goes around schools where they
identify kids who have not undergone certain immunization process which they should have
undergone at a certain age and administer the necessary drugs.
The aim of the screening service which is carried out at our various health facilities is to ensure
that children whose parents were negligent in giving them the necessary vaccine can still enjoy
a healthy and happy childhood just like their peers. This screening is an important exercise and
it ensures a healthy lifestyle amongst students in the school environment.
